HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

Habitat for Humanity is a global nonprofit Christian housing organization

that partners with people in local communities to build, repair, and improve

affordable homes.

Operating in all 50 U.S. states and approximately 70 countries, it aims to

eliminate poverty housing by enabling, not gifting, homes; qualified, low-

income partners help build their homes and pay an affordable mortgage.

Church of the Apostles, UCC supports our local affiliate, Habitat for

Humanity of Franklin County, PA by encouraging church and community

members to donate financially, to volunteer and to donate unneeded items

to the Chambersburg ReStore and to shop at the ReStore.
